Consumer confidence up in August
…rose 1.4 points to stand at +2.7 points. Again, all the component indicators improved, led by expectations of future ability to save (up by 3.2 points). The remaining indicators rose by between 0.7 points and 0.9 points. In comparison with August 2016 the WWUK was 10 points higher.
