In Ukraine, active development of the gastronomy segment is visible. According to research conducted by the company RealtyStory, cited by retailers.ua, the share of public catering facilities, i.e., cafes, restaurants, and coffee houses, on the central streets of Kyiv has grown from about 20% in 2015 to more than 30% in H1 2017. At the same time, the vacancy rate in the premises located on the main capital’s streets has significantly decreased, from 18% to 7%.
