Polish e-stores most often use Poczta Polska and UPS Polska

Poczta Polska, the national postal service, was the answer most often given by representatives of Polish online stores when asked to list the names of logistics firms with which their stores cooperate. In 2012, 61.6% of Polish e-stores used Poczta Polska services, according to the eCommerce 2013 report by Internet Standard.

UPS Polska, a courier company, was the runner-up again, with nearly 39% of the surveyed online shops using its services last year.

InPost, which in 2011 cooperated with less than a tenth of internet stores in the country, was indicated by 13.7% in 2012. InPost currently operates 1,300 points, with the prospect of 2,000 by the end of 2013. Moreover, the Integer group, InPost’s operator, is currently introducing for trial a new postbox system, which is fully integrated with cash machines provided by NCR Corp., a world leader in the production of cash machines and self-service devices. The new postboxes enable payments for services and cash withdrawals.
